Stord

Fulfillment provider
What is Stord?
Stord runs B2B and DTC fulfillment for omnichannel brands from its own nodes and partner facilities in the US, Canada and Europe, and sells the order and warehouse software it runs on. It acquired UPS’s Ware2Go in May 2025 and CEVA’s Shipwire in January 2026.
What you get
In Stord’s words, one partner from “port to porch”: fulfillment, its own OMS and WMS, freight and parcel, branded tracking and returns.
Who it’s for
High-volume DTC and omnichannel brands, from small businesses shipping hundreds of orders a month to enterprise, in apparel, beauty, CPG, food and beverage, health and wellness, pet, subscriptions and supplements.

Our seasonal product comes in, sits for a couple of weeks, ships out, and then we don’t need that space again for nine months.

Where Stord is the better fit

You’re a small business, or a brand of any size that wants DTC orders picked, packed, shipped and returned by one provider. Stord bundles fulfillment, its own order and warehouse software, freight and parcel, and branded tracking and returns, and it serves companies under $100M in revenue, which Flexe doesn’t.
How it works

From search to signed to live

01

Find the space

Flexe
Search Flexe Discover by location or port of entry, storage needed and radius, then filter by food grade, racked storage or secured access. Not sure of your scope? A Flexe logistics expert works it out with you, and the Spot Warehousing Index shows current pricing and vacancy before any RFP.
Stord
A brand that outsources fulfillment needs inventory close enough to customers for fast delivery. Stord places that inventory across its operated nodes and partner facilities, and offers a free network optimization study to plan the split. The brand gets Stord’s ground coverage without picking buildings itself, so there’s no warehouse search to run.

02

How to get it under contract

Flexe
Flexe’s team takes the scope you’ve already given, matches it to operator capabilities and locations, and runs bidding and selection. One managed process, negotiated against a monthly market benchmark.
Stord
Stord prices each deal by consultation: its pricing page asks visitors to schedule time with a Stord expert. The brand signs one Service Agreement or SOW, with term length and monthly minimums set in that contract. The published Terms (effective February 14, 2026) don’t include termination for convenience.

03

What happens after signing

Flexe
Every operator runs on Flexe’s WMS, so you connect once by API, EDI, XML or CSV and see inventory, orders and shipments from every site. Flexe’s operations team is your single point of contact, and the monthly Index tells you when to renegotiate or right-size.
Stord
Stord runs fulfillment on its own OMS and WMS across its nodes, alongside freight brokerage, parcel and returns, with onboarding and support from Stord. The brand works with one provider for the whole order flow. Leaving follows the Terms: estimated transition costs are invoiced in advance and goods are removed within 30 days.
FAQ

Questions planners ask

Yes. Flexe adds warehouse capacity next to the DCs and 3PLs you already run, so your core network stays where it is. You connect once to Flexe’s WMS by API, EDI, XML or CSV and see inventory, orders and shipments from every Flexe site.
Stord closed its acquisition of UPS’s Ware2Go in May 2025. The deal added 21 fulfillment centers to its network and extended its service to small and medium-sized businesses shipping hundreds of orders a month (Stord press release, May 19, 2025).
Both store pallets and move them in and out. The difference is the job. Stord runs your fulfillment, including DTC orders and returns, inside its own network. Flexe adds warehouse capacity in the locations you choose, for peaks, overflow, launches or new markets.
