Describe the momentum behind the industry.
Every week, there are headlines about global supply chain failures. As part of a $1.6T industry, Flexe exists to solve those tough problems for enterprise retailers and brands. We announced our Series C funding round in 2020, our Series D in 2022, and continue to break new ground, bringing tech-enabled warehouse services to the market. In fact, six of the ten largest retailers and brands use Flexe Logistics Programs.
Does someone need a supply chain background to work at Flexe?
Flexe employs hundreds of industry experts. But, depending on the team, it’s okay if a candidate doesn’t have a supply chain and logistics background. Our onboarding process helps new hires ramp up quickly.
Is Flexe a fully remote company? Are there plans to go back into an office?
Flexe is not fully remote. While we have employees across multiple states, we’re transitioning to a hybrid work model centered around our Seattle headquarters. Employees based in the Seattle area are expected to work in person three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). We’re also expanding our presence with hub hiring in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) and Atlanta (ATL) areas. Outside of these hubs, relocation will be needed. Additionally, we host in-person summits and encourage travel to visit warehouse partners and customers as needed.
What is a typical Flexe employee’s work schedule?
Flexe has core working hours between 8am and 3pm Pacific time. Most employees work Monday through Friday and cover the core hours. But that schedule is flexible depending on time zones. That’s something our employees set with their managers and teams.
What does onboarding look like in Flexe's new hybrid work model?
At Flexe, onboarding is designed to set every new hire up for success—whether you’re working in person in Seattle, at one of our hubs or remotely. For employees in the Seattle area, onboarding includes in-office participation as part of our hybrid schedule (in person Tuesday through Thursday). Those in our DFW and ATL hiring hubs may also have in-person components depending on team needs.
We provide a structured onboarding experience that includes virtual sessions, team introductions, and access to tools and resources to help you ramp up quickly. Regardless of location, all new employees are supported with a clear onboarding plan, regular check-ins, and opportunities to connect with peers across the company.
How does Flexe foster social connection in a remote environment?
Flexe fosters social connection through a mix of in-person and virtual experiences. For employees in our Seattle office, we encourage in-person collaboration and connection three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday), creating opportunities to build relationships face-to-face. We also host team events, cross-functional meetups, and company-wide gatherings throughout the year.
For remote team members and those in our DFW and ATL hubs, we support connection through virtual coffee chats, interest-based Slack channels, remote team-building activities, and regular all-hands meetings. Whether you’re in-office or remote, we’re intentional about creating a culture where everyone feels included and connected
What employee resource groups are available?
Flexe employees founded Women at Flexe, Parents at Flexe, Black at Flexe, AAPI at Flexe, LGBTQIA+, Veterans, and Disabilities. These groups have open meetings, slack channels, and other opportunities to connect. If there is a need for an employee resource group that doesn’t exist, we encourage employees to collaborate and start one.
How does Flexe recognize employees and the work they do?
During team meetings and company all-hands, leadership regularly recognizes employees for their outstanding work. An example of this is our “Livin’ It Award”. Once a quarter, we celebrate nominated employees for living our values in exceptional ways. We also have internal tools where employees give colleagues shoutouts and feedback outside of meetings. Lastly, we evaluate promotion candidates quarterly to ensure we recognize and reward rising talent quickly, and everyone receives a performance and merit review at least once a year to further reward outstanding impact.

What can candidates expect during the interview process?
Most roles have two to 3 steps depending on the team, department, and role. Expect an informational screening with a recruiter, an interview with the hiring manager or a technical assessment, and a final interview loop with three to four people on the team. We conduct all interviews over Google Meet.
